Administration and Finance

The department of Administration and Finance is an internal office serving the needs of parish leadership and Chancery Offices. The Director of Administration & Finance / CFO is responsible for the overall financial management of the archdiocese and the stewardship of the fiscal resources in support of the mission and goals of the archdiocese.

This is an ecclesiastical office mandated by the universal law of the Catholic Church as established in the 1983 Code of Canon Law, Canon 494. Under the direction of the Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and with his Vicar General, this office oversees all financial and related functions including budgeting, accounting, investments, risk management, real estate and facilities, and contracted benefits.

 

Parish Accounting Services Center Launched as Service to Parishes

The Parish Accounting Services Center (PASC) was launched recently as a program out of the Office of Administration and Finance. It is an office whose function it is to provide bookkeeping and accounting services to parishes that elect to engage it on a fee for services basis.

 

2009-2010 ANNUAL REPORT
