FORMACION EN LA FE [FAITH FORMATION] 

El equipo de Formación en la Fe lo comprenden los coordinadores de catequesis de cada parroquia. Este equipo organiza la misa de confirmación para las familias Latinas y los programas de formación continua de catequistas durante el verano, adviento y cuaresma.

[English] The archdiocesan Latino Ministry Faith Formation team is comprised of the faith formation coordinators from each of the Latino Ministry parishes. This team organizes the confirmation Mass for Latino families as well as continuing education programs for catechists during the summer, Advent and Lent.

PASTORAL FAMILIA [FAMILY MINISTRY]

El equipo de Pastoral Familiar lo comprenden algunos diáconos, agentes pastorales y sacerdotes sirviendo al ministerio Latino. Por favor vaya a la columna de Eventos para obtener mas información de las fechas de entrenamientos y retiros para la preparación de matrimonios, en diferentes regiones de la arquidiócesis.

Existen grupos de apoyo par la mujer y programas para padres de familia.

[English] The archdiocesan Latino Ministry Family Ministry team is comprised of priests, deacons and pastoral ministers who serve in Latino Ministry. Please refer to the Events page to find out about marriage preparation training and retreats scheduled throughout the Archdiocese.

Latino Ministry also offers support groups at some parishes for women and parents.


PASTORAL JUVENIL [YOUTH MINISTRY] 

El equipo de la Pastoral Juvenil lo comprenden los coordinadores de los grupos juveniles parroquiales. Cuatro veces al año se reúnen a nivel arquidiocesano para compartir y estudiar juntos.  En la lista de eventos encontrará los dias Juveniles arquidiocesanos.

[English] The archdiocesan Latino Ministy Youth Ministry team is comprised of the Youth Ministry coordinators from each of the Latino Ministry parishes. The Archdiocese schedules four youth days every year for Latino youth.  Please refer to the Events page to find out about youth events scheduled throughout the Archdiocese.

FORMACION DE LIDERES [LEADERSHIP FORMATION]

El programa de Formación de Lideres que ofrecemos fue desarrollado por el Concilio Católico Nacional para el Ministerio Hispano y se presenta como la Iniciativa Hispana para el Desarrollo del Liderazgo (IHDL). Aquí en la Arquidiócesis lo llamamos Taller de Liderazgo Latino.

En Septiembre de 2009 se graduaron 60 estudiantes y esta fue la tercer graduación. Los graduados de otros años están ahora en puestos alrededor de nuestras parroquias o como lideres voluntarios.

Lideres Latinos para la Iglesia y la sociedad
Vision: Desarrollar lideres latinos que, como cristianos sean agentes de transformación para la iglesia y la sociedad
Sus metas son:

• Desarrollar líderes Latinos para la iglesia y la sociedad quienes están arraigados en los valores y el mensaje del Evangelio
• Que cada participante tenga la experiencia de asesoría personal y desarrolla sus propias destrezas como asesor(a).
• Que todos los que comiencen el programa terminan con su certificación.

[English] Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry and is presented as the Hispanic Initiative for Leadership Development (IHDL). Here in the Archdiocese we call it the Latino Leadership Workshop.

In September 2009 we graduated 60 students. This was our third graduating class. Graduates are now serving in our parishes as staff or volunteer leaders.

Latino Leadership for the Church and Society
Vision: Develop and nurture Latino leaders so that, as Christians, they are agents of transformation in the Church and society.
Goals:

• Develop Latino leaders for the Church and society who are rooted in Gospel values and messages
• Provide all participants with the experience of personal mentoring and also develop his/her skills as a mentor
• Certification of all who begin the program

JUSTICA SOCIAL [SOCIAL JUSTICE]

El equipo trabajando por Justicia Social se compone de sacerdotes, agentes pastorales y lideres comprometidos que tienen como metas la defender la dignidad del pueblo latino. Los asuntos en los cuales estamos poniendo el mayor esfuerzo son: Reforma Migratoria, Violencia Familiar y Salud. 

En algunas parroquias existen equipos de Justicia Social que organiza talleres de información para la población y trabaja a nivel gubernamental cambiando estructuras con la ayuda de la oficina de Justicia Social de la Arquidiocesis.

[English] The archdiocesan Latino Ministry Social Justice team is comprised of priests, pastoral ministers, and other leaders. The primary goal of the Social Justice team is to defend the dignity of the Latino community. The team is currently focusing its efforts on the issues of immigration reform, domestic violence and health.

In some of the Latino Ministry parishes, we have social justice groups that organize informational seminars for the community and advocate for the needs of immigrants with help from the Archdiocese’s Office for Social Justice.
