The Printing Services Department was established in January 1973. Printing Services provides the Archdiocese Central Offices, Archdiocesan parishes and schools, and related institutions access to high quality, low-cost printing services. The resources Printing Services offers include a networked digital copy system, offset printing, bindery, and postal services. Printing Services continues to save the entities it serves 40 to 60 percent off cost of commercial printing services. This translates into a savings that can be redirected into their work and missions.

Annually, our networked digital copying volume is over 2 million copies; our offset printing press is over 1 million copies; and we print more than 650,000 envelopes. Among our major projects, Printing Services prints and delivers more then 100,000 confirmation booklets for the parishes of the Archdiocese annually. Printing Services generates letterhead, envelopes, and business cards for Archdiocese Central Offices, Catholic Community Foundation, Catholic Services Appeal, the Cathedral, Catholic Finance, Catholic Spirit, and various Catholic Archdiocesan parishes and schools. Printing Services generates the worship aids for Archdiocesan masses such as, but not limited to, Installation of Archbishop, Installation of Bishops, Ordination to the Priesthood, Christmas, Holy Week/Easter, Rite of Election, Chrism Mass, Vespers, Red Mass, etc.

Printing Services offers high-speed networked digital copying in sizes up to 11” x 17” and up to 100 pages a minute, two-color offset printing, plate making, booklet making, folding, spiral comb binding, saddle stitching, stapling, padding, collating, cutting, laminating, three-hole punch, and mailing services for first-class and bulk nonprofit mailings.
