Our Lady of Grace is a vibrant suburban parish of 2500 families. The parish is seeking an energized individual to serve as Youth Minister. This individual will provide Catholic leadership and guidance to the youth of Our Lady of Grace via small group formation, religious events, social activities, service and mission projects, and one-to-one contact. The primary area of focus includes a middle school (grades 6-8) and high school relational ministry, as well as planning and coordinating the 9th Grade Confirmation program. The Youth Minister will work collaboratively with the Parish Youth Commission, Diocesan office of Christian Formation and pastor in establishing, planning and implementing the Church’s ministry outlined in “Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry” as promulgated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. The person will minister primarily to middle school and high school youth.

Qualifications:

This is a full-time, 11-month, salaried position, rated at 40 hours/week. The Director of Youth Ministry represents St. Dominic parish maintaining contact with and ministering to parish youth. Primary focus is directed to students on the high school level (grades 9 through 12) and secondarily to those of middle school age (grades 6-8).
