  God's Children

“Before I formed you in the

womb I knew you,

 before you were born

I dedicated you.”

 Jeremiah 1:5

Have you experienced the tragic loss of a baby through

miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death?

This can be a lonely sorrow in a culture that often is unwilling to acknowledge the value of a baby whose life was brief. If you would like some spiritual support on your journey as well as comfort and fellowship from other grieving parents, you are warmly invited to be part of God's Children. This is a new ministry sponsored by the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and formed by parents who seek to grow in faith while providing a nurturing environment that integrates prayer and grief. God's Children meets the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Wellesley Avenue, St. Paul.

Our Mission
In His Time is a support group for Catholic couples who struggle with infertility.  This group provides a supportive environment for Catholics who follow the Church's teaching on fertility and allows them to share their experiences with others who are on a similar journey.  These meetings offer comfort, hope and peace to couples as they wait for God's plan to unfold in their lives.  The group meets the second Monday of every month.   Please call 651-291-4488 or email mfl@archspm.org for more information.

                                                          LEADERSHIP

                                                                1.  The group should be proactive - working together for

positive outcomes.  It is not a place to complain.

                                                                2.  The discussion time should allow for all who wish to

talk to do so.  Groups should be careful to avoid

having the conversation dominated by one or two

                                                                     individuals.

                                                                 3.  Gatherings should conclude formally according to the

schedule but individuals could remain to socialize

                                                                       informally afterwards.
