Advent give us a
time to quietly
prepare for the
birth of our
Lord. When
Christmas
finally arrives,
it is a time for
great
celebration!
The Church,
through its
liturgical year,
has the
Christmas season
begin on
Christmas Day
and continue
until the feast
of Epiphany,
when the Magi
visit Jesus.
The Twelve Days
of Christmas
add-on packet is
a continuation
of the Advent
Bible study of
the Jesse Tree
kit produced by
Scripture Trees.
Each day during
Christmas, you
read a Bible
story with your
family about an
event or
prophecy related
to the birth of
Jesus and the
visit of the
Magi. Each
story is
represented by a
felt symbol that
is placed upon
the Jesse Tree
banner.
The packet
contains all
directions,
patterns and
felt needed to
make and use the
13 (twelve days
plus Epiphany)
brightly colored
felt symbols. It
also includes
the Scripture
readings for
each day of
Christmas.
