Come Holy Spirit!
Pentecost is a Christian observance on the seventh Sunday (50th day) after Easter. It commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles as they celebrated the ancient Jewish feast on Shabuoth. "Through the Holy Spirit we are
restored to paradise, led back to the Kingdom of heaven, and adopted as
children, given confidence to call God "Father" and to share in Christ's grace,

WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES Pope Benedict XVI announced the 6th World Meeting of Families will take place from January 16-18, 2009 in Mexico City. The theme is “The Family: Educator in Human and Christian Values.” This meeting, which has usually include a theological/pastoral congress, cultural celebrations, an evening prayer service and closing Mass with the Holy Father, is organized by the Pontifical Council for the Family.
