Accounting Services
Accounting processes payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. It also manages several central services functions for the broader archdiocese, including the General Insurance Program.
IT / Computer Services
The Computer Services Team (CST) provides technical support and computing services to the Chancery offices.
Administration and Finance
This office oversees all financial and related functions including budgeting, accounting, investments, risk management, real estate and facilities, and contracted benefits.
Latino Ministries
We are dedicated to developing and enhancing Latino ministry, through relationship building, collaboration, and participation in the Church and society.
Advocacy and Victim Assistance
We provide assistance those who have been sexually exploited, abused, or harassed by a priest, deacon, religious, or lay church person.
Marriage and Marriage Preparation
The Mission of the Archdiocesan Office for Marriage, Family, and Life is to assist and encourage all Christians to fulfill their call to holiness.
Archbishop's Office
The Office of the Archbishop directly assists the Archbishop with daily operations of the Archdiocese.
Metropolitan Tribunal
The Metropolitan Tribunal represents the Archbishop and the faith community in Church judicial proceedings for marriage cases and other matters of Church (canon) law.
Archives / Records Management
The Office of Archives and Records Management helps employees find and store records, maintains the retention schedule, and working with Archives to help preserve and provide access to historical documents.
Moderator of the Curia / Vicar General
The Moderator of the Curia coordinates the ministries and services of the diocese. The Vicar General assists the Archbishop in the general care and administration of the diocese.
Auxiliary Bishop's Office
The Auxiliary Bishop assists the Archbishop in his many responsibilities within the Archdiocese and is an ordinary minister of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Natural Family Planning
Modern Natural Family Planning (NFP) is healthy, medically safe, reliable and easy to learn. An Archdiocesan NFP Board coordinates the promotion and understanding of the gifts of life, fertility, and sexuality.
Biomedical Ethics
The Commission on Biomedical Ethics advises the Archbishop on ethical issues related to biomedical science.
Parish Services
The Office of Parish Services serves to foster the spirit of communio among parishes, ordained and lay ministers, and the faithful of the Archdiocese.
Catholic Services Appeal
This annual collection helps to cover the general operating and program expenses of Archdiocesan programs. The goal – typically about $10 million annually – is to get broad participation from all registered Catholics to support the work of the Church, as overseen by the Archbishop.
Persons with disAbilities
The mission of the Ministry for Persons with disAbilities of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul/Minneapolis is committed to facilitate the implementation of the Pastoral Statement of U.S. Catholic Bishops on People with disAbilities.
Chancellor for Canonical Affairs
The Chancellor for Canonical Affairs provides general canonical counsel to the Archbishop, other departments within the archdiocese, priests, parishes, and members of the lay faithful.
Priestly Life
The Office of the Life and Ministry of Priests provides the personal and ministerial resources designed to support the person of the priest and enhance the fruitfulness of his ministry.
Chancellor for Civil Affairs
The Chancellor for Civil Affairs serves as the Archbishop's attorney and represents the Archdiocese in civil legal matters.
Printing Services
Printing Services provides the Archdiocese Central Offices, Archdiocesan parishes and schools, and related institutions access to high quality, low-cost printing services.
Communications
The Communications Office is responsible for ensuring effective ongoing two-way communications between the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and the many publics it serves.
Protection of Children and Youth Initiative (PCYI)
The Protection of Children and Youth Initiative (PCYI) of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis has one goal – providing safe environments for all children.
Conciliation
The department assists persons and organizations that find themselves in conflict and wish to resolve that conflict in a manner that reflects Christian principles and Catholic social justice teaching.
Respect Life
The Respect Life Outreach works to promote respect for human life from conception to natural death, to bring about a conversion of heart and mind to be open to God's special gift of life.
Delegate For Religious
The Delegate for Religious serves as a liaison between religious communities in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and the Archbishop. It is also advisory and a resource for and about Religious.
Schools
The mission of the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools is to develop strong partnerships between home and school that foster academic excellence and fully infuse Catholic teaching and values into every element of the student’s educational experience.
Development and Stewardship
We steward charitable giving funds under the good advice of the Finance Council and collaborators in the area of administration, always knowing that we are accountable for how they are stewarded.
Vocations
The Vocation Office recruits and assesses candidates for priesthood in this archdiocese and acts as a resource for people discerning their vocations to priesthood or consecrated life, as well as for families and parishes supporting the culture of religious vocations.
Diaconate
The Center for Diaconate provides general catechesis and information on the vocation of deacon in the Archdiocese.
Worship
The Archdiocesan Office of Worship assists the Archbishop in his role as the chief steward of the liturgical life of the local church and serves as a resource on liturgical law and practice for pastors and parishes serving within the Archdiocese.
Family and Laity Outreach
The Family and Laity Outreach Programs ministry team's mission is to assist and encourage all Christians to fulfill their call to holiness.
Youth and Young Adults
Our office promotes this evangelization, helping to create a culture of life, by programs that support: the vocation of marriage, the single state and outreach to youth and young adults.
Human Resources and Benefits
Office of Human Resources/Benefits provides a variety of programs and services to the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and the Chancery Corporation employees in several areas.
