Our Lady of Peace Home provides Catholic hospice services. Our Lady of Peace Home develops a care plan that involves both the patient and their family. Patients and loved ones can spend important time together without the exhaustion caregivers experience at home.
A Care Team consisting of physician, nurse, aide, pharmacist, social worker, chaplain, and activities coordinator, work together to meet the needs of the patient. They receive expert medical care, including pain management, nutritious meals, whirlpool baths, and around the clock nursing care. Our Lady of Peace Home has a low patient to staff ratio, and offers large, spacious rooms in a home-like atmosphere.
Patients, family, and friends can also enjoy a beautiful chapel with Mass and Communion held several times a week.
Formerly Our Lady of Good Counsel, Our Lady of Peace Home is operated by the Franciscan Health Community. FHC is a participating affiliate of Catholic Senior Services (CSS), the outreach program created by the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to meet the growing need for quality senior housing and services. FHC is a member of the Catholic Health Association, Aging Services Minnesota, and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).
