La misi\u00f3n se fund\u00f3 en 1883, adscrita a San Pedro en Delano,<br \/>\ny la primera iglesia con estructura blanca se construy\u00f3 al a\u00f1o siguiente. Finalmente, en 1904, se convirti\u00f3 en<br \/>\nuna misi\u00f3n de San Jos\u00e9 en Delano que se complet\u00f3 en ese momento. En 1913, la iglesia fue<br \/>\nfue alcanzada por un rayo y qued\u00f3 completamente destruida. Se construy\u00f3 la iglesia actual y se celebr\u00f3 la primera misa.<br \/>\ny la dedicaci\u00f3n tuvieron lugar el 17 de enero de 1915. En oto\u00f1o de 1947, se construy\u00f3 una casa parroquial (que fue construida<br \/>\njusto al sur de la iglesia) fue bendecida y el pastor se mud\u00f3 a ella.<br \/>\nHoy en d\u00eda, St. Mary sigue prosperando.
