San Gerardo el Grande,
querido siervo de Jesucristo,
imitador perfecto de Jes\u00fas,
y devoto hijo de la Madre de Dios,
enciende en mi coraz\u00f3n una chispa
de ese fuego celestial de la caridad que ard\u00eda en el tuyo.
Porque te aburres,
sin murmurar ni quejarse,
las calumnias de los malvados
cuando se le acusa injustamente de un delito,
Dios te ha resucitado
como patrona y protectora de las mujeres embarazadas.
Prot\u00e9jeme\/prot\u00e9jala de los peligros de la maternidad,
y proteja al ni\u00f1o que ahora llevo en mi vientre,
para que pueda salir a la luz de forma segura,
