It is moving through committees and heading to the floor this week!<\/p>\n<p>What this legislation seeks to do by protecting reproductive freedom after a child is conceived goes well beyond merely \u201ccodifying Roe\u201d. Instead, it attempts to enshrine into law an abortion regime that disregards prenatal human life, even the life of a pre-born child whose heart is beating, who can feel pain, and who is viable outside the womb. It also opens the door to a whole host of fertility treatments and \u201creproductive healthcare,\u201d regardless of the wisdom or ethics of those technologies or procedures.
