Caring for Our Clergy and Future Clergy | $25 Million
The clergy are among the greatest strengths of our Archdiocese, dedicating their lives to service in parishes, schools, hospitals, and prisons, and being present for significant moments in our lives.
- Lord, Renew Your Church will add $10 million to fully fund the priest pension plan, ensuring our retired priests can continue their impactful service. Even in retirement, our priests are vital shepherds of faith within our community.
- A first $5 million endowment will assist retired priests requiring skilled nursing and memory care.
- A second $5 million endowment will support clergy wellness and training, addressing the emotional, mental, and physical demands of ministry, and providing opportunities for renewal and further education.
- A third $5 million endowment will go toward assisting future clergy with further educational opportunities and helping alleviate financial challenges. Doing so will help us honor their commitment and ensure the Church remains a beacon of faith, hope, and love for generations to come.
