St. Francis Xavier got its start in 1888 with just eight families. A small
church was constructed in 1889 not far from the present site. After only
ten years, it had to be rebuilt and expanded in order to accommodate the
growing community. The present church was constructed in 1917, with an
impressive bell tower standing 125 feet tall. The school opened in 1937 and
was expanded in 1960. A new school facility and parish offices were built
in 2006. Today the beautifully constructed faith and education center is home to the
parish offices, adoration chapel, gym, and classrooms to serve both school and parish.
