Abuse Before, During and After the Sacrament
In this webinar, we will explore the history of confession and the role of the sacrament in clergy abuse. We will look at examples of “solicitation” in confession and also at a whole range of situations to which that term refers: abuse before, during, and after the sacrament.
This webinar will emphasize the power of the sacrament, for good and for ill, and related practices such as spiritual direction and counseling. Ample time will be set aside for questions and conversation.
