Archbishop Bernard Hebda has announced the following appointments in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis:
Effective July 1, 2026
Reverend Joseph Wappes, assigned as temporary parochial administrator of the Church of Saint Joseph in West Saint Paul, while the pastor, Reverend Luke Marquard is on sabbatical until August 15, 2026.
Effective July 30, 2026
Deacon John Rogers, assigned part-time to the Institute for Diaconate Formation. Deacon Rogers is also assigned to diaconate ministry at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Saint Paul.
Effective August 1, 2026
Reverend Biju Mathew, assigned as pastor of the Church of Saint Jerome in Maplewood. Father Biju was previously assigned to the same parish as sacramental minister. Father Biju continues in his assignment as hospital chaplain.
