For confidential, compassionate assistance from an independent and professional local care provider, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, contact Canvas Health at (651) 291-4497.

Anointing of the Sick: Any baptized Catholic who has reached the age of reason (usually around the age of 7) and is in danger due to sickness or old age, facing surgery, or near death may request the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.

If you or a loved one are in a hospital or other care facility in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, please ask to be connected with the facility’s pastoral care team and express your desire for an anointing. They will best be able to reach the facility’s Catholic chaplain and provide for your need.

If you have a sacramental emergency (a Catholic who is in imminent danger of dying and wishes to receive last rites), call the parish nearest your location, ask for a priest and tell them it is a sacramental emergency. Find a listing of parishes here.

Job postings: To browse job openings at parishes, Catholic schools and other Catholic organizations within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, please visit our Careers Page. To post a job, please click here to login. If you are requesting a new account, please allow one business day for account review. Questions may be directed to careers@archspm.org

Promoting an event: Do you have an event that you’d like to promote to Catholics throughout our local Church? Here are some ways you can “get the word out” about your event!

Genealogical research: To celebrate our 175th anniversary, the Archdiocese Archives has embarked on a project to make historical sacramental records accessible directly to researchers online. We are hopeful this project will be complete in 2026. As we transition to this digital service, genealogical research services previously offered by the Archdiocese have been discontinued. Learn more.
