Advent Days of Prayer allow you to enter into holy prayer, reflection, learning and worship. Give yourself the gift of reflective time during this holy Advent season. Social/gathering time is followed by a presentation on the topic of the day, an opportunity for confession, a guided prayer experience, then lunch, provided by the Retreat Center. Advent Stations of the Cross and Mass complete the experience. Enjoy free time for personal prayer and reflection.
- Dec. 3: The Blessed Virgin Mary Visits Elizabeth
- Dec. 10: Joseph and Mary Travel to Bethlehem
- Dec. 17: The Maji Follow the Star to the Christ-child
These day retreats are not sequential; one may attend one or all of these days as best fits one’s schedule.
Schedule:
9 a.m.: Arrival, social, coffee, tea
9:45 a.m.: Welcome, Opening Prayer and Conference
10:30 a.m.: Confessions and Spiritual Direction
11:30 a.m.: Guided Prayer Experience
Noon: Lunch Provided by the Retreat Center
1 p.m.: Advent Station of the Cross
1:45 p.m.: Mass
2:30 p.m.: Departure
