Christ the King was established in 1939, when a combined church
and school was built. The building served those two purposes
until a separate church was built in 1958. In 1992, the campus was
expanded with a new gathering space, library, and social hall.
Christ the King School, opened in 1940, was staffed for many years
by the Sisters of St. Joseph. In 1992, the school was partnered with
St. Thomas the Apostle, and in 1995, the two schools were merged.
Now, the regional school is called Carondelet Catholic School.
