All Saints was established in 1916 to serve the local Polish community in Northeast
Minneapolis. Father Francis Matz served as pastor for 52 years, from 1916–1968. The
present church, built in the Spanish Romanesque style, was completed in 1938. In 2013, the
parish was entrusted by the Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis to the Priestly Fraternity
of St. Peter (FSSP) to serve the increasing interest in the region for the Extraordinary Form of
the Roman Rite. In 2017, the parish was designated as a personal parish for both for the faithful
of Polish heritage and for the faithful domiciled anywhere in this Archdiocese attached to the
Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.
