Jesus Christ instructed his apostles to “Go and teach all nations” (Matt 28:19). In every time and place, Catholics have worked creatively and courageously to follow this command. The 90 Catholic schools and over 175 parish religious education programs in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis witness to the central importance of Catholic education in the life of the local Church.
At the service of the Archbishop, the Office for the Mission of Catholic Education provides vision, support, and direction to those who teach in the name of the Church within the Archdiocese so that they can achieve their mission to proclaim Christ and form authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
