Calendar of Events on the Archdiocesan Website
One way to share your event with other Catholics in our local Church is on the Events Calendarย ourย Archdiocesan website. Events featuring well-knownย Catholic speakers, retreats and other ministry events of broad appeal are featured, alongside Archdiocesan events. (Note: Events that are common to most parishes โ such as Bible studies โ do not qualify for this listing.) To suggest an event, please fill out our online form.
Listing of Events and Announcements to Parishes
A weekly emailย called โThis Week in Communicationsโย is sent to parishย communications contactsย and other parish staffย within our local Church. Among other items, the communicationย contains a listing ofย eventsย within theย Archdiocese. The email is sent onย Mondays.ย ย
Events that promote fellowship/community events (socials, holiday bazaars, etc.) may be included. Other events, such as those featuring well-knownย Catholic speakers,ย retreats and other ministry events of broad appeal are also included, alongside Archdiocesan events. (Note: Events that are common to most parishes โ such as Bible studies โ do not qualify for this listing.)ย ย
Please submit your event by the end of the day on the Wednesday before the first Monday you would like your event included. Submitted events are promoted beginning two months in advance of event date or registration deadline. To submit an event for consideration, please fill out our online form.ย

If your parish or organization is hosting a great event youโd like to share with other Catholics in our archdiocese*, please submit your event viaย The Catholic Spirit Calendar Submissions form. Events are posted onย The Catholic Spirit websiteย underย Local Events, and events of a unique nature and/or of broad appeal may appear in a print edition as well.ย

Itโs easy to advertise your event with The Catholic Spirit, in our biweekly print edition or onย The Catholic Spirit website. Is your event unique and exceptionally newsworthy? It may be considered for a story inย The Catholic Spirit, the official publication of our local Church. If you would like your event considered for coverage, email stories@archspm.org.
Social Media
Have an event*, announcement or other content on social media that you would like to share with other Catholics in our local Church? Tag us on Facebook and Instagram! You can also email a link to your social media post to socialmedia@archspm.org.
Events for Clergy or Parish Staff
If you are a parish staff member or ministry association representative and would like to share an event with clergy or parish staff through Archdiocesan communications (such as Archdiocesan Update), you may fill out this form. Please note the audience for your event (e.g., youth ministers, liturgy directors, etc.) under “Event Audience.”
*Note: All events must promote and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church. Events must be connected with a parish or school within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and/or a local Catholic organization. Events must also appeal to a broad audience of Catholics, beyond an individual parish. National organization events are posted only with special permission. Please ensure all involved parties – event organizer, location, sponsors, etc. – are aware of and approve your event promotion prior to submission.
