The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), tracking COVID pandemic trends, now classify the Twin Cities area with a Community Level Risk of “Low.” It is still important be fully vaccinated, practice good hygiene, keep indoor spaces well ventilated, and (when showing symptoms) isolate and get tested. However, urging all to wear masks, keep social distance, and avoid large gatherings is no longer required. The Archdiocesan Office of Worship assists the Archbishop in his role as the chief steward of the liturgical life of the local Church and serves as a resource on liturgical law and practice for pastors and parishes serving within the Archdiocese. The Office coordinates major Archdiocesan liturgical celebrations, and provides catechetical and practical support for the full, conscious and active participation of God’s Holy People in the Church’s sacramental and liturgical life.
