Archbishop Bernard Hebda has asked parishes to take up a second collection to support our sisters and brothers in Christ affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The funds collected in this special appeal will be sent to Catholic Charities USA, the US Catholic relief agency, to provide immediate disaster relief with necessities such as water, food and shelter. Donations will also be used to provide for the pastoral and social needs of the Church as they reach out to those displaced by the disaster.
The collection will take place the weekend of October 12-13 or soon thereafter. Thank you for your generosity.
