Frequently Asked Questions about Vatican Unveiled

Exhibit

Vatican Unveiled is the largest collection of papal artifacts outside of Rome and is an extensive private collection curated by Father Richard Kunst, an active Catholic priest in Duluth, Minnesota. The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis is hosting an exhibit of this unique, historical collection at Mall of America from January 10 to February 1, 2026, in celebration of the Archdiocese’s 175th anniversary and the recent election of the first-ever pope from North America, Pope Leo XIV.

The exhibit will be located through the main Mall of America entrance, on second floor across from J.W. Marriott, from January 10 to February 1, 2026.

Tickets are $30 each.

Go to archspm.org/vaticanunveiled to pre-purchase tickets. You may also purchase tickets at exhibit entrance assuming there is availability during the date and time of interest.

You will have the ability to create an account with our ticketing vendor, and then choose a new date and time that works for you assuming there is availability. There is no change fee, although the ticket price may vary between your original purchase and the new ticket as the new date and time will be charged at current rate.

We recommend high school age and older due to the delicate and historical nature of these items. This exhibit is a museum format filled with irreplaceable artifacts, ranging from antique weaponry to political documents of significance.

Yes, this exhibit provides wide enough aisles for wheelchairs and scooters to fit.

Yes, groups of ten or more will receive a 20% discount on their tickets. Groups can be as large as 150 for one entrance time, as long as there is ticket availability at that time at the venue.

There are no additional discounts to pricing beyond what is listed here. The ticket price has already been underwritten by generous donors.

No, please leave packages and large items, including large purses, outside of the exhibit. For a daily fee, lockers are available on first floor by the north entrance and by Nickelodeon.

Water bottles with a tight seal and non-sticky food are allowed for medical reasons, but please plan to leave food and drink outside of the exhibit if you are able.
