The archdiocesan Office of Stewardship and Development helps parishes and Catholic schools plan and run successful development campaigns so that they can focus on living out the mission of the Church throughout our community. Our team also navigates the logistics of donations and record keeping.

Capital Campaigns

A capital campaign is a concentrated effort to raise significant funding in a relatively short time period. Parishes may engage in a capital campaign for efforts such as:

  • Capital improvements or renovations
  • New building projects
  • Debt reduction
  • An endowment fund
  • Program and ministry enhancements

Gifts and Donations

The Stewardship and Development office receives gifts and donations from various benefactors and directs them to the correct accounts. The office also – along with the Center for Mission – manages some Mass offerings (“second collections”) for archdiocesan, national or international campaigns.
