The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis today launched a new concierge service to more effectively and efficiently assist and support clergy, parish and school staff and those working at Catholic entities in the Archdiocese. The concierge service will feature a team of Archdiocesan Catholic Center (ACC) employees who will be available during business hours to quickly answer questions from the field and when more information and assistance are needed, those requests will be forwarded to designated department representatives. Those department representatives will then find the information and respond to the requestor within a specific timeframe.
“This is the first part of our Mission Support effort,” said the Archdiocese’s Chief Operating Officer, Bill Lentsch. “Our partners in the field – the clergy and parish and school staff – have asked us to be more responsive to their needs, and the concierge team will help do just that. Thanks to this new request and ticketing system, we will be able to view at any time the kinds of requests we’re receiving, how they’re being resolved, and most importantly, when they’re not. That will help us evaluate where we need to resource better or simply bolster our knowledge base. I’m excited about how this system will help our parish and school partners and have already heard from some of them about it today."
The second part of Mission Support is the reimaging and rebuilding of the Archdiocesan Resource Site (archCONNECT), where clergy, and parish and school staff access important documents and other operations information needed to help them in their ministries. A large group of ACC employees and partners from the field have been working together on that effort – along with a web developer and other experts – ahead of its launch in early 2023.
