June 15, 2015 - I am humbled by Pope Francis’ decision to appoint me to serve as Apostolic Administrator for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. I am grateful for his confidence and I look forward to working with Auxiliary Bishop Andrew Cozzens and the leadership of the Archdiocese.

January 30, 2015 - As part of the Chapter 11 Reorganization filing on January 16, 2015, the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis submitted to the bankruptcy court a schedule of its assets and creditors.
January 20, 2015 - Rev. Paul Moudry has resigned as pastor of the Church of Saint Margaret Mary in Golden Valley. Rev. Moudry has been on a voluntary leave of absence from priestly ministry since November 2013.
January 16, 2015 - The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis held a press conference Friday, January 16, at which Archbishop John Nienstedt spoke about the archdiocesan corporation filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.
On Jan. 16, , 2015, the archdiocesan corporation filed a petition for Reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. This decision came after months of consideration and consultation with clergy and lay leadership and input from attorneys representing victims/survivors of clergy sexual abuse.
January 14, 2015 - By virtue of an agreement reached between Jeff Anderson and Associates and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in the Doe 1 case, the files of seven current or former priests previously assigned to the Archdiocese have been unsealed.
