Do Not Be Afraid to Be Saints: The Pastoral Vision of St. John Paul IIย
No one was more aware of the brokenness of our world than Saint John Paul II, who not only lost his entire family at a relatively young age, but also experienced his own country occupied by Nazis as well as the struggle to practice the faith under communist rule.
Bishop Andrew Cozzens of Crookston will reflect on Saint John Paul IIโs pastoral vision. He will explore how proclaiming Divine Mercy reveals the dignity of human life and brings healing to a wounded world. Even amid brokenness, preaching mercy must also invite people to embrace Jesusโ promise of fullness of life and answer the call to holiness by becoming saints today now.
