Father Michael Tix receives NCEA Distinguished Pastor Award

Congratulations to Father Michael Tix, who was named recipient of the National Catholic Education Association’s (NCEA) Distinguished Pastor Award! For 2015, only twelve pastors were chosen for this award from across the United States.

Each diocese is able to nominate one pastor who meets specified criteria for the award. Father Tix was the nominee for our Archdiocese this year, and becomes the first pastor from the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis history to receive this award.

He receivee the award at the NCEA’s annual convention in Orlando, Florida on April 7, 2015 that draws over 10,000 Catholic educators from across the country.
